Animation is first and foremost a visual language.

I’m passionate about acting, and hold firm the belief that movement alone doesn’t justify the qualifier of animated.

Who are these characters?
What drives their movement?
Are they breathing?

Over the years, I’ve provided quality character animation on a broad range of productions, from fast paced and snappy TV style work to the subtle nuances of feature animation. In my hands, animation principles are a given. With a firm grasp of character model, dynamic storytelling posing, and a thorough understanding of the translation work that needs to happen between storyboard drawings and the animation stage, I’m also an enthusiastic special pose artist.

Designs often tell you how they want to move.

Acting as a liaison between the design, rigging, and animation departments, I’ve helped set up a number of ToonBoom Harmony productions. Each project brings its own priorities and challenges, and matching these to the right designs, animation styles, and technical strategies is the key to a smooth production that yields efficiency, ease of use, and high quality results.
